皆さんこんにちは、ディープストリームのKen-D（けんでぃ）です。
メーカーに忖度しない、釣り人による、釣り人目線の情報を毎日更新して11年。
舞台はアメリカに変わっても、変わらぬバスフィッシングの”本質”を発信したいと願いながら続けています。

Hi, I’m Ken-D from Deeep Stream.
For 11 years, I’ve shared raw, honest fishing insights—always for anglers, never for manufacturers.
Now in the US, I continue my journey to capture the true essence of bass fishing.

ところで日米問わず、釣りには様々な定説や理論の数々があります。
そして経験の浅い釣り人ほど、どこかの雑誌で見かけたような”春は○×パターン！”的な断言を好みますが・・・
しかしやり込めばやり込むほど、セオリーから外れたバスの意外な行動に驚かされます。

There are so many fishing theories out there.
Beginners love simple rules like “Spring means this pattern!”
But the more I fish, the more I’m surprised.
Bass always break the rules, showing us things we never find in textbooks.

印象的だったのは、前回OPENで日本のレジェンドアングラーの方々に伺ったお話。
「釣りはどこまでやっても正解は分からない。永遠に、辿り着かない」
経験を積めば積むほどに、人は”知らないという事を知る”のだと悟りました。

I’ll never forget what the Japanese legends told me at the last OPEN: “In fishing, you never find the final answer. You never truly arrive.”
The more I fish, the more I realize “I know that I know nothing.”

そうした釣りの本質が見えてくると、メディアに載るような分かりやすい断言はしづらくなります。
それはヒトの注目を集めるには不向きですが、しかし魚に対して謙虚な姿勢だと思います。
大自然の織りなす真実のカケラを、時に掴みかけ、また見失う。
人に出来るのは、その終わらない繰り返しだけではないでしょうか。

Understanding the essence of fishing makes it hard to give the simple, catchy answers the media loves. It might not grab attention, but I believe it shows a humble respect for the fish.
We catch a glimpse of nature’s truth, only to lose it again. All we can do is embrace this endless cycle.

その意味では人気youtuberであるよりも、湖上のソクラテスでありたいなと。
どれだけ試合に敗れようとも、ノーフィッシュに打ちひしがれようとも、水辺に向かい続ける姿勢だけは失いたくないと思います。
すいませんちょっとカッコつけましたがw、そんな地味なDeeeP STREAMをこれからもよろしくお願いします！

I’d rather be a “Socrates on the lake” than a popular YouTuber. Even if I lose every tournament or come home with zero fish, I never want to lose the passion to keep heading to the water.
