日本は今、大変な寒波に見舞われているそうで…。
特に雪は重大事故に繋がることも多いので、十分お気をつけ頂きたいと思います。
ちなみに画像は昨年のクリスマス、アメリカを襲った数十年に一度？の寒波の時。
ここチャタヌーガも外気温-12℃になり、窓の内側が凍りました。
日本と決定的に違ったのは、こんなに寒くても「よく晴れて明るい」という点。
窓から外を見ると一見暖かそうなのですが、一歩玄関を出たらリアル冷凍庫でした…。
というわけで皆さまなにとぞご自愛ください。

Japan is now experiencing a very cold wave….
Snow, in particular, often leads to serious accidents, so please be very careful.
By the way, the picture was taken last Christmas when the once-in-a-decade cold wave hit the United States. The image is from last Christmas, during the cold wave that hit the U.S. once in several decades.
Here in Chattanooga, the outside temperature was -12℃, and the inside of the windows froze.
What is definitely different from Japan is that even in such cold weather, it is sunny and bright.
Looking out the window, it looks warm at first glance, but once you step out the front door, it is a real freezer….
So, I hope everyone is taking care of themselves.
