塩の多いゲーリー素材に代表される、「ボトムにベタっと寝る」ワームが日本では人気だと思いますが・・・。
アメリカでは”アップライトポジション”、つまりボトムでワームを立てるのを好むアングラーが多いと感じます。
そしてこのコンセプトで人気なのが、比重の軽い素材を利用したフローティングワーム。
昔からハンドポワード系のストレートはありましたが、近年はあらゆるルアージャンルに及んでいるようです。
果たしてその効果はどれほどのものか？
これから試していきたいと思います。

In Japan, the salty softbaits like Yamamoto material lying on the bottom are popular.
But in the U.S., I felt many anglers prefer the “upright position”, standing the worm up on the bottom.
And popular with this concept is the floating worm that uses a lighter material.
There have always been hand-powered straight worms, but in recent years, it seems to have reached all kinds of softbait categories.
How effective are they?
I would like to try it from now on.
