最強ナイロンと信じるGTRウルトラが、ブチブチとラインブレイク！
あまりに切れるので調べてみたら、夏場の高温や湿度で劣化を起こすようで・・・。
ボートに入れっぱなしにしていた分が、明らかに新品より強度が落ちていました。
ナイロンは”鮮度”に気を付けないといけませんね。

The GTR Ultra, which I believe is the strongest nylon line, kept breaking again and again.
So I looked into it and found that nylon lines can weaken due to high temperatures and humidity.
The ones I’d left in the boat had clearly lost strength compared to brand-new spools.
It seems we really need to watch out for the “freshness” of nylon lines.

ちなみに夏場のボートストレージは超高温・多湿になりますが・・・。
同じ場所に置いておいたフロロやPEは、ほとんど劣化を起こしていませんでした。
その意味では、特に高温期はナイロンよりフロロを優先して使った方が良いかもしれないと思いました。

On the other hand, the fluoro and braided lines didn’t seem to weaken in the hot, humid storage.
So it might be a good idea to use those lines during the summer.
