2023バスマスターOPENスケジュール

ここで今シーズンの、Bassmasterオープンの年間スケジュールをご紹介します。

まず初戦は3月のユーファウラ（アラバマ）でシーズンが開幕。フロリダ種の入るビッグバスレイクで、いきなりプリの乱打戦になる予感。

続いて4月のトレドベンドで、こちらも名だたるビッグレイク。スポーンの進行次第で、ミッドかポストか微妙な時期。

5月は2戦が予定され、上旬は未知のリザーバー・バグズアイランド戦。25年くらい公式戦が無く、釣った経験のある現役選手はほとんどいない模様。

下旬には、2016年に大森貴洋選手がスーパースプークで優勝したレイク・ウィーラー戦。

そして6月はこちらも公式戦がほとんど開催された事の無い、「オクラホマの」ユーファウラ戦。

7月にはビッグ・スモールマウスで有名な北部セントローレンスリバー戦。伊藤巧選手がエリート初優勝を遂げ、一躍有名になった地でもあります。

この後サマーブレイクを挟み、9月のタイトな2連戦はまずテネシーのワッツ・バーから。チカマウガの1つ上流のダムで、昨年BPTが開催されたくらいのマイナーレイクです。

間髪入れずに、ツアーはミズーリのレイク・オブ・ジ・オザークスへ。
急深な岩盤質のクリアレイクらしく、日本のリザーバーに似ているとの話。

最終戦はハリスチェーンで、珍しい10月のフロリダ戦となります。
スポーンの絡まない秋のナチュラルレイクということで、かなり難易度が高い事が予想されます。

・・・というわけでバラエティに富んだ全9戦が組まれているわけですが、かなり狙って定番の場所や時期を外してある感じがします。
アウェーの人間としては逆にやりがいのあるスケジュールとも言えるのでは？と、前向きにとらえようと考えています！！

Here is the annual schedule for this season’s Bassmaster Opens.

First up, the season opens in March at Eufaula (Alabama). This is a big bass lake with Florida species in it, and I have a feeling it will be a pre-spawning slugfest.

Next is Toledo Bend in April, also a well-known big lake. This is a sensitive time for mid or post depending on the progress of the spawn.

May will feature two tournaments, the first being the unknown reservoir Buggs Island, which hasn’t had an official tournament in about 25 years and few active anglers seem to have fished it.

In late May, there will be a tournament on Lake Wheeler, where Takahiro Omori won with the Super Spook in 2016.

In June, the “Oklahoma’s” Eufaula, which has rarely been the site of an official tournament, will be the site of the tournament.

In July, We’ll fish St. Lawrence River, that is famous for big smallmouth. It is also the place where Takumi Ito won his first elite championship and became famous.

After the summer break, the first two tight tournaments in September will be held at Watts Bar in Tennessee. This is a dam upstream of Chickamauga, and is such a minor lake that it hosted the BPT last year.

Without a pause, the tour went to Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks.
It seems to be a steep, deep, rocky, clear lake, and is said to resemble a Japanese reservoir.

The final tournament will be the Harris Chain, a rare October tournament in Florida.
