アメリカで人気の高い、ショートシャンクの内向きトレブルフックはどうか？と質問がありました。
私も以前はよく使っていたのですが、「針先が2本同時に立つと干渉しあって刺さりにくい」という弱点が。
最近は針先やコーティングも進歩したので、同時に2本刺さっても互いに邪魔し合わない平行ポイントを愛用しています。

I was asked about the short-shank, inward-pointing treble hooks.
I used to use them often myself, but they have a drawback: if two points stand at the same time, they can interfere with each other, making penetration difficult.
So I now prefer parallel-point hooks where the two points don’t interfere with each other.

ちなみにこれに気付かされたのは、Teckelさんのフロッグ用ダブルフックの解説記事。
針先が内向きだと、2つの針先が刺さった場所よりもベント間距離の方が広いので、針穴を左右に押し分けて広げながら刺さる事になってしまうという訳です。
（当然抵抗になりますよね！）

I first realized this from Teckel’s article on double hooks for frogs.
If the points are inward-facing, the distance between the 2 bends is wider than the 2 hooking points.
This means the hook tends to enter while pushing the hooking points to the sides, and this creates extra resistance!
