ボートのしつこい水垢には、”酢”を使うのが有効だと書きましたが・・・。
実際に、ウロコだらけのカウルを拭いてみるとこんな感じです。
スプレーを吹き、日陰で10分くらい放置してから拭き上げます。
最後に固く絞った布で水拭きすると完璧ですね！

I cleaned my outboard with vinegar.
Sprayed it under the shade, waited 10 minutes, and wiped it off.
For a perfect finish, you can wipe it down with a firmly wrung-out damp cloth.

ちなみに超しつこい固着には、一時間以上放置した方が良いそうですが・・・。
乾いてしまうといけないので、上からサランラップを貼り付けておくと良いみたいです。
酢臭い匂いは避けられませんが、一度湖上に出せば気にならなくなりますよ！

For stubborn stains, you should let the vinegar sit longer (an hour or more).
To keep it from drying out, cover the surface with plastic wrap.
The smell is the only downside, but it should go away once you get the boat back on the water!
