今回の一時帰国中、様々なフィールドを回るにつけ・・・魚が獲れなくなったという話を、頻繁に耳にしました。
釣りの基本は、豊かなフィールド。
日本の釣りの将来は大丈夫かなと、正直かなり不安になります。
問題はその原因で、気候変動や乱獲、化学物質など色々あるでしょうが・・・。
危惧されている農薬の問題も、もっとハイペースで研究が進んで欲しいと思います。
もちろん農薬が原因と特定されたわけでは無いですが、ネオニコチノイド系は昆虫への、ALS阻害剤は水草への影響が出る事までは分かっているようです。
それが魚類へどう影響を及ぼすのか、私たち釣り人は研究の進捗をフォローし続けるべきだと思います。

[Fishing and Pesticides]
During my trip to Japan, I visited many lakes and frequently heard people say that they could no longer catch many fish.
To be honest, I was quite worried about the future of fishing in Japan.
The problem is the cause of the problem, and there may be many things such as climate change, overfishing, chemicals, and so on….
I would like to see more research being done at a faster pace on the issue of pesticides, which is also a concern.
Of course, pesticides have not been identified as the cause, but we do know that neonicotinoids affect insects and ALS inhibitors affect water plants.
We anglers should continue to follow the progress of the research to see how it affects fish.
