先日フロッグロッドが折れましたが、これによって”ソリッドティップはアリ”だと思いました。
硬くて操作しにくいのをソフトティップで補うわけですが、唯一の懸念は耐久性。
しかし今回ソリッドの継ぎ目より下で折れたことで、逆に強度に問題ナシと結論づけました。
ただし一つ注意点があって、それはスパイラルガイドだという事。
このセッティングだとロッドがねじられないので、ティップも折れにくくなっているのかと。
折れたエクスプライド169Hにソリッドを継いで試してきましたが、これは大アリだと思います！

I thought the solid tip rod would be good for frog fishing because it combines a soft tip and a powerful butt.
My only concern was its durability, but it was resolved when the rod broke below the joint section of the tip.
But it’s important to note that this rod utilized a spiral guide setting.
It prevents the rod blank from twisting under load, and protects the rod from breaking.
If you have a broken frog rod, why not consider a solid tip custom!
