アメリカ名物”サンダーストーム”ですが、今回のはちょっと強烈。
住宅地の出口が、巨大な倒木でふさがれてしまいました。
電柱も粉々になり、もちろん停電。
そして電力会社からは、復旧に3日かかる！？と通知が・・・。
周囲の家々では次々と自家発電機が回り始め、あらためて自力でサバイバルする能力の大切さを思い知らされました。。。

Thunderstorms are popular in the southern part of the US, but this one was a bit more intense….
The exit to a residential area was blocked by a huge fallen tree.
Power poles were also shattered, and of course, the power went out.
The power company informed us that the power would be restored in 3 days!
The surrounding houses started running their own generators one after another, reminding me how important it is to be able to survive on your own.
