アメリカBASSトーナメント参戦を目指すアマチュアバサー、KenD(けんでぃ)の奮戦記をお送りします。。。

昨日試合中に見つけたスポットで、朝からキーパー連発！
ホッパープロッパー＆1/2ozジグで、10:00までにリミットを揃える快心のスタートとなりました。
しかし週末という事もあり、巨大なボートの引き波が荒れ狂い始めると、バイトはパッタリ消滅。。。
ここからのサイズアップに苦しみ、結果的に10lb-12ozで少し順位を上げて80位フィニッシュとなりました。
ところがここから凄まじかったのが、コアングラーのアーロン・ロレンツ！
3パウンダーのナイスキッカーを釣りまくり、3尾で10lb近く釣って何と優勝━━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━━!!
おそらく5尾なら16lbくらいの超ナイスウェイトで、最後にたどり着いた場所の真のポテンシャルを教えられました。。。

なぜ彼にはビッグバスが釣れて、自分には釣れなかったのか？
悔しい面もありますが、今回も非常に勉強になりましたので後日シェアするつもりです。
ともあれ最悪のプラクティスの後、試合中に「その場所」にたどり着けた事は一歩成長だったと思いました。

[’23 Bassmaster OPEN#8 Ozark Day2]
I started the morning with many bites of keepers on a spot I found during the tournament yesterday!
With a Whopper Plopper and 1/2 oz jig, I started a good start, catching my limit by 10:00am.
However, as it was the weekend, the bite disappeared when the huge boats came and go and the water became rough.
I struggled to increase the weight and ended up finishing 80th place with 10lb-12oz.
However, my co-angler Aaron Lorenz really fished great!
He caught so many nice kickers of a 3lb and caught almost 10lb for 3 fish.
And he even won this tournament at co-angler side━━━━(ﾟ∀ﾟ)━━━━!!
I think he might catch around 16lb for 5 fish, and it showed me the true potential of the spot where we fished.
Of course I want to fish those ones,but I could learn a lot from him and enjoy this tournament in the Ozarks.
