ウルトレックスのステアリングモジュールを交換。
ベアリング破損で左右への首振りがギコギコになっていましたが、完璧に治ってくれました。
近所のボート屋さんで、手軽に部品が手に入るのがホントありがたいです。

今では多くのメーカーからブラシレスの最新エレキが出揃っていますが・・・4シーズン使われた旧ウルトレックスを使い続けることにした最大の理由はこの「整備性」。
（もちろん予算不足と言うのもありますがw）

今年はOPENに出ないのでメーカーのサービスも受けられないし、どんなエレキもいつか必ず壊れます。
ならばそんな時、すぐに部品が手に入って簡単に直せるというのは、場合によってはカタログスペックよりも重要なのではないでしょうか。

[The advantage of old Ultrex]
I replaced the steering module of my Ultrex and it was fixed perfectly!
It was very helpful I could get that part at the local shop near me.
Though there are many brushless trolling motors on the market now, I’ve decided to keep using this old Ultrex this year.
It’s because not only of the budget but also of this kind of maintenance problem.
I think there is no trolling motor that never breaks.
If so, to be able to get the parts and fix it easily might be more important than specs.
