爆風のクオリファイア第2戦Day2は、今度こそ掛けた魚を全部獲って17lb-5oz！
20位の決勝進出には届きませんでしたが、総合32位までジャンプアップして賞金を獲得出来ました。
やはり最後まであきらめちゃダメですね・・・三重苦の中、何か一つ壁を超えられたような気がします。

On Qualifier Day2, I landed all bites this time in the strong wind and weighed 17lb-5oz.
Though I couldn’t make the cut for TOP 20, jumped up to 32nd and got a check!
Despite many troubles, I still never gave up – I feel like I broke through a wall.

ただ、試合にタラレバは無しですが、初日のミス＆デッドが無ければ少なくとも同ウェイトはあったはず。
きっちり獲れていれば予選突破できたかもと思うと、やはりどうしても悔しさが残ります。
まあどのみち、地元スペシャリスト勢(ベン・ミリケンとか)の超ハイスコアには手も足も出ていませんが・・・

No “what ifs” in tournaments, but without Day1’s many lost fish, I would’ve had at least the same weight.
Thinking I could’ve made the cut hurts.
But honestly, even then, I wouldn’t have touched the insane scores of TX&LA hammers like Ben Milliken…

ともあれ今回も、多くの方から応援頂けた事が何よりも心の支えになりました。
メッセージ＆コメント下さった日本の皆様、クラブの仲間たち、本当にありがとうございます！
まずはしっかり船を直して、7月のシャンプレイン戦に最後のチャンピオンシップ出場の希望を賭けたいと思います。

Time to get the boat fixed and give it my all at Lake Champlain in July for a berth at the Championship.
