来季エリート昇格を決めた、9人のOPENs EQアングラーたち。
驚くべきは何と、ほとんどが20代の若者！
トレイ・マッキニーに至っては18歳で、最年長のベン・ミリケンでも34歳です・・・。
逆にボビー・レーンJrやイッシュ・モンローといった、バスプロツアーからの出戻り組が昇格できなかったのは衝撃でした。
またオープンには毎戦何人もの現役エリートプロが出場していますが、彼らと比べても互角以上の勝負を繰り広げてきました。
来季エリートに上がっても、いきなり活躍を見せてくれると確信しています。
特に最年少エリートプロとなるトレイ・マッキニー選手に至っては、次世代のKVDあるいはジェイコブ・ウィーラーになるのではという予感がしています。。。

9 OPENs EQ anglers have been qualified to the elite series next season.
Amazingly, most of them are in their 20s!
Trey McKinney is even 18 years old, and the oldest, Ben Milliken, is 34….
On the other hand, it was shocking that Bobby Lane Jr. and Ish Monroe, who were returning from the Bass Pro Tour, were not qualified.
Also, there was a number of current elite pros competing in the Open every tournament, and they have been more than evenly matched with them.
I am confident that they will be able to show their performance next season when they fish the elite series.
I have a feeling that Trey McKinney,the youngest elite pro, will be the next KVD or Jacob Wheeler.
