多くのバスフィッシング・フィールドを擁するテネシーリバー水系を始め、アーカンソーリバー、レッドリバー、ミズーリリバー等は全てミシシッピリバーの支流となっています。
（驚く事に、イリノイ川の運河で五大湖とも繋がっているそうです！）
北米大陸の東西南北を結ぶ水運の要として、合衆国の歴史を創ってきたミシシッピ川。

(Amazingly, it is also connected to the Great Lakes by the Illinois River Canal!)
