アメリカはガソリンが安いといいましたが、実は場所によってだいぶ値段が違います。
私のテネシー州はだいぶ安い方(100円/lくらい)なのですが、ニューヨーク州では$1/ガロン近く高い(135円程度)！
カリフォルニアなどさらに高い州もあるようで、一概にどこでも安いとは言えないようです。
これは流通うんぬん以前に州ごとにガソリン税が違うからだそうで、アメリカ合衆国というのはEUみたいな「いくつかの国の集合体」に近いのかもしれませんね…。

I mentioned that gas price is cheap in the U.S., but in fact, the price differs greatly depending on the location.
In my state of Tennessee, gas price is much lower, but in New York State, it is almost $1/gallon more expensive!
It seems that some states, such as California, have even higher prices, so it seems that it is not cheap everywhere.
I heard this is because each state has a different tax.
(I was really surprised that there are many different tax systems in one country!)
So the United States may be similar to an “aggregation of several countries” like the EU….
