エレキは釣果を変える

新作リールもロッドも興味がない私ですが、今欲しいのはブラシレスのトローリングモーター。
先月のクラシックでも、パワーポールのMOVEが1～5位独占！なんて話題になっていまして・・・
確かに”エレキは釣果を変える”よなぁと、最近つくづく感じるからです。

Recently, I’ve been wanting a new brushless trolling motor.
Like the TOP 5 guys who used the Power-Pole Move at the Classic this year, I feel that a trolling motor can change the catch.

それはなぜかと言うと、やはり単純に”静か”というのは大きいと感じています。
例えばやり込んでいるシャローマンの方で、エレキの踏み方を気にしていない人はいないでしょう。
つまり、いかにトローリングモーターの音がプレッシャーを与えているかと言うことの証だと思います。

I think this is because the quietness of the brushless motor makes a big difference.
No expert shallow fishermen are careless about working the pedal, that means how its sound can give fish much pressure.

そしてもう一つ大きいのは”速さ”で、ライブ前提の現代バスフィッシングは魚探しが異常に早い。
昔トレイに同船した時もエレキ全開でサーチしていましたが、マジでウルトレックスの1.5倍くらい。
冗談抜きに、もはやアイドリングでサイドスキャンするのと変わらない速さではないでしょうか。

And its speed can also play a big role in fast fish-paced bass fishing today.
I saw many young Elite guys looking for new fish at the max speed of the trolling motor.
It seems as fast as the idling with the big motor, maybe 1.5 times faster than the old Ultrex.

以前も書いたように、部品が豊富なウルトレックスには今でも運用上のメリットが多いと思います。
(フォルトレックスをスペアにする事も出来ますし)
なのでいまだに使い続けているのですが、釣果にコミットする意味では、もはやブラシレスの優位は否定できないと痛感している今日この頃です。

As I shared before, the Ultrex still has some operational advantages such as parts availability.
(You can also use Fortrex for spare)
That’s why I keep using it, but when it comes to the result, I can’t deny the advantages of the brushless anymore.
