タンドラの最高燃費（バスボート牽引時）更新。

まあこれは良い数字が出過ぎ(たぶん高低差の影響)ですが、安定して13.5〜14.0MPGくらいを出せるようになってきました。
決して燃費は良くない車ですが、走らせ方次第で劇的に変わりますね。
具体的なコツは主に3つで、
1.クルーズコントロールを使わない
2.背の高いトラックの後ろについて空気抵抗を減らす(特にトラックは空気抵抗の影響が大きい)
3.登り坂はゆっくり走ってエンジンを回しすぎない。下り坂でスピードを上げてカバーする
といったところです。
すべての車種に当てはまるポイントだと思いますので、ガソリン代に苦労している方はぜひお試しを。

My tundra’s highest fuel economy (when towing a 21ft bass boat) was updated.
Well, this is too good a number (probably due to the height difference), but I am getting about 13.5-14.0 MPG consistently.
The truck is by no means fuel efficient, but it can change dramatically depending on how you drive it.
I have three main specific tips,

1. not using cruise control.
2. Reduce aerodynamic drag by getting behind taller trucks.
3. Drive slowly uphill. Speed up on downhill slopes to cover up.

These are some of the points.
