ある程度水の落ち着いた場所でないと、サーモクラインは形成されないのです。
つまり通常、「川にサーモクラインは無い」。これはぜひ知っておいて欲しいポイントです。

A thermocline can only exist in calm, stable water, so there’s no thermocline in rivers.
This is a key tip to realize the water!

リザーバーの場合、流れの弱い湖ではメインチャネルでもサーモクラインが出来たりします。
しかしテネシーリバー水系のように、メインリバーにしっかりした流れがある場合は、下の動画のように水温はほぼ一定になることを覚えておきましょう。
テストに出ますよ(笑)！

In reservoirs with weak current, a thermocline can exist even in the main channel.
But in river-like lakes such as the Tennessee River reservoirs, the water temperature in the main river should remain consistent even in the summer.
